![]() ![]() The Season 1 build relies on stacking Hurricane and Merciless Bonegrinder with Storm of Swords for gigantic Whirlwinds after Bladestorm, while Cleave, Overpower, and Thunder Clap maintain sustained damage. The general rotation is nearly identical, although it leans more into sustained priority damage with Test of Might and Warlord's Torment, instead of AoE burst windows with Blademaster's and Bladestorm. Deep Wounds also serves as a soft funnel - the more targets it ticks on, the more likelihood of getting more crits and Crushing Assault stacks to buff Mortal Strike.Īn optional version of this build which exchanges Bladestorm for Skullsplitter can also be found on the Mythic+ page and linked in the talent calculator builds. ![]() ![]() Outside of Bladestorm, the damage profile is mostly focused on priority damage to 1-2 targets, with passive AoE damage from bleeds and the occasional Whirlwind. Bladestorm remains available as the chief multitarget ability, although Merciless Bonegrinder is also dropped in favor of Massacre to trigger Executioner's Precision sooner and facilitate even bigger Mortal Strikes. Warbreaker is used to apply Deep Wounds to multiple targets, causing the buff to stack up to three times very quickly if not instantaneously, and while the direct damage of Crushing Assault is very low, Mortal Strike regularly gains up to 30% extra damage.Īlthough only three talents are changed between T29 and T30, the gameplay has a very different feel to it, placing greater emphasis on cooldown management in order to ensure that Warbreaker is available to apply Deep Wounds on every pull and tab targeting Mortal Strike to maintain the debuff after its initial duration would have run out. The Season 2 build drops Cleave in order to prioritize Sweeping Strikes and Mortal Strike, thereby benefiting from the T30 4p set bonus. The result is significantly increased priority damage, though it comes at the cost of increased cooldown management. With the addition of the full T30 set bonus, Arms Warriors will transition to a Sweeping Strikes build which is much more focused on two-target damage using Mortal Strike buffed by the tier set, instead of raw AoE damage. Because most GCDs will be spent on these three abilities, there isn't a lot of time to spend rage on cheap fillers like Slam, so a combination of Ignore Pain, Storm of Swords, and Thunder Clap are used to spend rage more quickly without sacrificing as many GCDs. The Juggernaut build is a heavily backloaded playstyle which relies on rage conversion mechanics and stacking buffs to greatly enhance its damage potential, with numerous talents buffing Mortal Strike, Overpower, and Execute. Although there are still build options present within the talent tree in the form of Slam and Skullsplitter talents, they aren't really worth using at this time.
